We want supporter purchases to be clear and fair. You may cancel at any time, and refund requests are reviewed under this policy, Paddle's Refund Policy, and applicable consumer law.
1. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel a supporter subscription at any time through the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt or customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless a refund is approved, your benefits normally continue until the end of the billing period already paid for.
Deleting a Discord account, leaving the server, losing access because of an account issue, or simply not using the benefits does not automatically cancel the Paddle subscription. Use Paddle's cancellation tools or contact support.
2. Our voluntary refund window
You may request a refund within 14 days of a charge. This includes an initial subscription charge and an accidental renewal. A request made within this window is reviewed in good faith and does not reduce any longer or stronger right available under applicable law or Paddle's Refund Policy.
Requests submitted after 14 days may still be approved where the service was not delivered, a duplicate or unauthorized charge occurred, a serious technical issue prevented use, or law requires a refund.
3. Situations normally eligible for review
- A duplicate charge or clearly accidental purchase.
- A supporter tier or paid benefit was not delivered within a reasonable time after you supplied the information needed to claim it.
- A material technical fault made the paid benefit unusable and staff could not correct it.
- An unauthorized or fraudulent transaction, subject to Paddle's identity and fraud checks.
- An accidental renewal reported promptly.
- A refund or withdrawal right required by the law that applies to you.
We may offer correction, replacement, account credit, or a full or partial refund depending on the issue and your legal rights. You do not have to accept a replacement where law entitles you to a refund.
4. Situations that may limit a voluntary refund
Outside mandatory refund rights, a voluntary refund may be declined or reduced when the subscription period has been substantially used, supporter boosts or roles were actively used, or requested custom work has already been substantially created or delivered.
Refunds are not intended to reverse valid enforcement for cheating, payment abuse, harassment, fraud, chargeback abuse, or another material breach. This does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
5. How to request a refund
Use any of these routes:
- Open the receipt or subscription-management link in your Paddle confirmation email and choose the refund or support option.
- Visit paddle.net and select the refund request option through Paddle Order Support.
- Contact staff through the official Heavenly Dao Discord for help identifying the affected tier or resolving delivery.
Include the email used at checkout, transaction or receipt number, date and amount of the charge, tier name, and a short explanation. Never post payment-card details in Discord.
6. Review and processing time
Heavenly Dao will aim to review a complete request within five business days. Paddle may separately review the refund. After approval, the time for funds to appear depends on Paddle, the payment method, your bank, and the card network. Refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible.
Taxes, exchange-rate differences, and bank processing are handled according to Paddle's checkout and refund rules. We do not charge a separate refund fee.
7. Statutory rights and Paddle policy
This policy does not exclude rights you have under consumer law. Regional withdrawal periods and exceptions for immediately supplied digital services may apply. Paddle's current Refund Policy explains the rights and request routes Paddle applies as Merchant of Record.
If this page conflicts with a mandatory legal right or a more protective term that Paddle must apply to your transaction, that mandatory or more protective term controls.
