1. The service

Heavenly Dao is the sole proprietor brand that creates and operates this original online cultivation role-playing game, informational Wiki, and Discord community. The service includes game commands, progression systems, community features, digital supporter benefits, and optional custom content requests.

Game content, balance, commands, systems, and availability may change as the project develops. Nothing in the service is a financial product, investment, gambling service, or source of real-world monetary value.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country. If you are not legally able to enter into a contract where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms and authorize any purchase.

3. Accounts and access

Some features require a Discord account. You are responsible for your account security and activity performed through your account. Do not sell, transfer, share, or impersonate another person's account.

Supporter benefits are normally linked to the Discord account used to claim them. You must provide accurate information when staff need to verify a purchase or deliver an entitlement.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Supporter plans are recurring monthly subscriptions. The current Elder Supporter plan is a digital subscription priced at $7 USD before any tax shown at checkout. Paddle processes the transaction, calculates applicable taxes, issues receipts, and manages payment information as Merchant of Record. Heavenly Dao does not receive or store your complete payment card details.

Your subscription renews automatically at the interval shown during checkout until cancelled. You may cancel using the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt or other Paddle customer portal made available to you. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not ordinarily remove access already paid for during the current billing period.

Prices or included benefits may change prospectively. When legally required, advance notice will be provided. A price change does not apply retroactively to a completed charge.

5. Supporter benefits and custom content

Supporter subscriptions provide digital benefits associated with the selected tier. Benefits may include Discord roles, supported game boosts, early access, and opportunities to request custom content.

• Custom roots, physiques, races, elements, enemies, bosses, jobs, mechanics, commands, or other concepts are requests for review, not an unconditional promise that any exact proposal will be added.
• All custom content must fit the game's technical limits, rules, theme, balance, and safety requirements.
• Staff may revise, rebalance, rename, reject, postpone, or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect the game and its players.
• Supporter benefits are personal, non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money or ownership in the project.

Where a paid benefit cannot be delivered, contact staff so that it can be corrected, replaced, or considered for a refund under the Refund Policy and applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not exploit bugs, automate gameplay in a prohibited manner, manipulate payments, threaten or harass others, evade enforcement, access another person's account, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, scrape protected data, or use Heavenly Dao for unlawful activity.

Discord community rules and reasonable staff instructions also apply when using community features. Enforcement may include warnings, removal of content or benefits, progress correction, suspension, or permanent loss of access.

7. Intellectual property

Heavenly Dao and its original code, writing, systems, branding, and artwork are owned by or licensed to the project. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service for its intended purpose.

If you submit an idea or custom content request, you keep any rights you already hold. You grant Heavenly Dao a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to adapt, reproduce, display, distribute, and use the submission in connection with the game and community. Do not submit material you lack permission to use.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an evolving and as-available basis. Maintenance, outages, platform changes, security incidents, Discord availability, or circumstances outside our control may interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or permanent preservation of every game state, feature, or community space.

We may modify these Terms when the service or law changes. Material changes will be communicated through the website or official Discord when reasonably practical. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heavenly Dao is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, Heavenly Dao's aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected subscription during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not restrict mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and cancel an active subscription separately through Paddle. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the service.

Termination does not erase obligations that by nature should survive, including ownership, payment obligations for completed transactions, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy, Paddle's policies, and applicable law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in Georgia may hear disputes, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact Heavenly Dao staff and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Payment and refund matters may also be handled directly by Paddle under its Buyer Terms.
